I've spent 19 years inside a major UK bank, moving from customer operations to fraud, and now financial crime compliance as a Quality Control Analyst in Customer Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering.

In every department, I watched capable people lose much of their day to manual, repetitive work. The problem was never skill. The systems simply weren't built to absorb the load.

I also work on AI tooling for compliance analysts, from streamlining workflows to designing prompts and testing outputs. That mix of operational understanding and technical execution sits behind every system I build.

Is Hazen Systems a one-person team?+

Yes. Every build is designed and built by me directly, with specialist help brought in for larger builds when needed. You always deal with the person doing the work.

Do you only work with Zapier and Make?+

No. I also build in n8n, direct API integrations and custom code, and design AI agents where a fixed workflow isn't the right fit.

What's your background outside automation?+

19 years inside a major UK bank, most recently in financial crime compliance. I hold the ICA Level 6 International Diploma in Anti Money Laundering, and I also work on AI tooling for compliance analysts.

Do you subcontract builds overseas?+

No. I build everything myself, and any extra help is sourced and managed by me.
